The LVPU (Low Voltage Power unit) is a complete cost effective solution to replace the expensive and unpredictable lead-acid battery usage, the load shed circuit and the voltage regulator on a passenger bus.

The Power Unit containing the Li-Ion cells and a BMS is designed according to the highest security level of the ISO26262 battery related standard.

The LVPU has the same size and footprint of a conventional 8D group battery allowing an easy installation on a bus retrofit or on a new bus by the OEM. It can smartly control the alternator of a diesel bus as well as the DC-DC converter on a hybrid/electric vehicle.
