The REG24A is a high reliable Voltage Regulator Series with an easy to adjust setpoint access. No potentiometer used for better reliability. It only needs a jumper wire to adjust the voltage setpoint (VSP). The unit displays an accurate measurement of the battery voltage and provides some basics diagnostic codes when a problem occurs on the charging system. Upon “Ignition” signal activation, a soft start on the field output eliminates high stress on the alternator and belt to extend their life. The REG24A series is mechanically and electrically compatible with the Delco voltage regulator in retrofit situation. It can be provided with two different connector options: Sealed Deutsch connector or 5 Screw terminal block.
